But what do I know. I’m just a crab.

In trump’s America the correct spelling is Nforced

I think in force works. Enforced would be fine too, and perhaps better, but in force isn’t wrong.

Maybe they mean to say the rule is in force, as to say the rule holds. But I’m Dutch so what do I know. (The direct translation to Dutch makes sense in that way)
Also you need to get one of these for the fleet of Toyotas:

No, that makes sense. It says the parking rule is in force 24 hours a day.

I don’t agree... rules are enforced, Beyonce is a force, love is the source.

Post Office parking only, in effect 24 hours daily

“In great strength or numbers 24 hours daily” .... ehhhhhh

Maybe the rule is in force 24 hours but only enforced 8 hours?
I’m no native speaker but I see a difference..

I think that they meant “enforced” but thought it should be spelled “in force.”

Seems like a jump considering “in force is a perfectly valid and sensible thing. See http://www.macmillandictionary.com/us/dictionary/american/in-force for example. I agree enforced would be better, but there’s nothing wrong about their usage.

True, “inforce” is not a word, but the sign here says “in force” which are both words, and which are valid English when used this way.

A moron didn’t capitalize the f of “force” but unnecessary capitalized many other letters.

How is a rule inside force?

Maybe that post office and/or the sign maker contain poorly-educated morons.

The way they have it seems right. Sometimes rules like this are only for certain times of the day. This one is in force all of the time.

Unlike the great serial comma debate, I take no sides here, and I have no dog in this fight. Now I’m off to correct possessive errors on errant store signs.

I think it’s grammatically correct—the rule is “in force,” if not enforced, 24 hours a day—but a stupid word choice.
